YOUNG LIFE PARENT AND CAMPER AGREEMENT
We are excited that you are coming to Young Life camp. To ensure a safe and
positive environment for everyone there, we are asking campers and their parents/guardians to
review and sign the agreement below.
Young Life’s Commitment
Foster and create an atmosphere of love, respect, and acceptance for all campers.
Respond swiftly to violations of camp rules to ensure the physical and psychological
safety of all campers, staff, and volunteers.
Engage parents regarding disciplinary measures taken for a camper’s behavior and
conduct that may result in a camper being sent home.
Camper’s Commitment
No Discrimination, Bullying or Harassment
I won’t act in any way that discriminates against, bullies, or harasses anyone (campers,
staff, and volunteers) based on things like race, gender, religion, age, abilities, or
background.

No Drugs, Alcohol, or Weapons (& Fireworks)
I agree to not possess, use, or bring any illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, vaping
devices, or weapons to camp. ______ (camper initials)
No Fighting or Harmful Behaviors (including pranks).
I agree to not engage in or encourage any activity that may lead to or include a fight or
any form of physical or verbal violence. ______ (camper initials)
Parent/Guardian’s Commitment
I will review this agreement with my child so that he/she understands its content.
I will contact Young Life staff if I have questions about the expectations for my child at
camp.
I understand that if my child fails to meet these commitments, he/she may be asked to
leave camp and travel home at my expense.
By committing to this agreement, we can work together to ensure a camp experience where your
child and every person at camp is accepted, supported, and safe.
